We believe that all children benefit from quality education, especially in their early years. Our well-designed learning environments, dedicated, professional educators, an inclusive approach and a well-planned bilingual curriculum can provide children with a strong foundation for their future education and an ongoing love of learning.
We believe that all children have inherent wisdom, kindness, and courage. We trust that all children have an intrinsic curiosity and motivation to learn and that this can be nurtured through the creation of appropriate learning environments. Values and behaviours such as perseverance, dedicated effort, caring for others and willingness to share should be encouraged and rewarded.
Play is the work of childhood. Through their play, children discover, create, improvise, and imagine. We believe in the importance of allowing time for meaningful interactions, providing a range of opportunities for individual and shared experiences, and developing opportunities for children to contribute to their local communities.
We believe that on-going professional development is important for educators to be able to take on many different roles in supporting children’s learning. Our educators use a range of strategies to scaffold children’s learning and engage them in sustained conversations that will encourage, develop, and expand their thinking. They aim for a balanced use of child-led, child-initiated, and educator-supported learning approaches to provide quality learning experiences for our young children.
